The first 24 hours matter most
A storm doesn't just cause one disaster, it causes a chain reaction. The wind tears a tree onto your roof. The roof punctures, water pours in. The water damages drywall, ceilings, and floors. The wet materials become mold within 48 hours. What started as "tree on roof" becomes a multi-week restoration if it's not handled fast.
Our job is to stop the chain reaction immediately. Board up the opening. Tarp the roof. Extract the water. Begin drying. By the time the sun comes out, the damage is already contained.
Types of storm damage we handle
- Wind damage: Siding torn off, roof shingles lifted, gutters peeled away, windows broken
- Tree damage: Trees or large limbs through roofs, walls, or fences
- Hail damage: Roof shingle bruising, dented siding, broken skylights
- Nor'easter flooding: Wind-driven rain entering through compromised areas
- Ice dam damage: Water backing up under shingles and into the home
- Blizzard structural damage: Roof collapse from heavy snow load
- Lightning damage: Strike fires and electrical surge damage
Our emergency storm response
- Board-up: Broken windows and openings secured the same day
- Roof tarp: Heavy-duty tarps installed to stop further water intrusion
- Water extraction: Industrial pumps and extractors for standing water
- Structural drying: Air movers, dehumidifiers, daily moisture readings
- Debris removal: Trees, branches, broken materials hauled off-site
- Content pack-out: Salvageable belongings inventoried and moved to a secure facility
- Insurance documentation: Photos, scope, Xactimate estimate ready for your adjuster
Then the rebuild
Once mitigation is complete, our reconstruction team handles the rebuild: roofing, framing, drywall, flooring, paint, finish work. Same project manager from day one through final walkthrough. You don't need to find a roofer, then a framer, then a drywaller, then a painter. We carry it.
We work with insurance on storm claims
Storm damage claims are usually straightforward to file because the cause is obvious and well-documented (weather reports, neighborhood damage patterns, etc.). We document everything, write the estimate in Xactimate, and bill the carrier directly. Most homeowners only pay their deductible.
What to do while waiting for us
- Stay safe. Do not enter a structure with significant damage until the fire department or a structural inspector clears it
- Stay clear of downed power lines. Assume every wire is live until the utility confirms otherwise
- Turn off the main breaker if water is near electrical systems and you can do so safely
- Photograph everything before any cleanup begins, this matters for the insurance claim
- Cover what you can with tarps or plastic if it is safe to do so
- Call us. We will handle the rest
